For each CommonSpot subsite, including the root subsite, you can configure General Security permissions by expanding the Security option in the left panel of the Subsite Administration Dashboard and clicking General Security.
By default, users and groups inherit site level permissions, as shown below.
General Security dictates page creation, template creation, Element creation, admin, and other privileges for all users and groups working within a subsite.
Uncheck Inherit Security from Parent to view or explicitly change subsite permissions.
Choose Add Users(s) or Add Groups(s) to display the standard CommonSpot dialogs for group and user assignments. Click Next to set subsite privileges for new groups or users. For existing users or groups, click the edit icon to view or change permissions. The Add Subsite Permissions dialog displays.
