Connection Test

Access the Connection Test dialog from the Transport Tab within the Add/Edit Replication Record dialogs, by clicking the Test Connection button for a selected transport protocol.

Given the protocol and protocol parameters specified for the target server, CommonSpot tries to connect to the target server and reports the status.  A successful connection displays as shown.

A message like the following message displays for unsuccessful connections.
