Your Outdoor Classroom at the Monument

Colorado National Monument provides curriculum-based education in a variety of ways. Check out our offerings below, and contact us for more information or to schedule a field trip. Select Field Trip Programs if you're an educator interested in a traditional ranger-led school field trip. Our school program calendar fills up quickly, so plan ahead for the fall semester or consider scheduling a virtual program

You might qualify for an Academic Fee Waiver, so please fill out our form (pages 1 and 3, which includes sections 1, 2, and 5) and email it to COLM_Education_Fee_Waivers@nps.gov, preferably four to six weeks prior to your field trip to allow time for processing the number of requests we receive.

If you're interested in leading your own classroom in the outdoors, check out these tips.
