NPS/Chapman Hughes Museums in the National Park Service collect, preserve, study, and provide access to both natural and cultural resources and preserve these materials as educational tools for staff, researchers, and the public. The Museum Collections and Archives at Charles Pinckney National Historic Site manages over 60,000 of these important objects including archeological artifacts, photographs, historic objects, and fine art. Access to the Charles Pinckney collections are available by appointment only. Research visits are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Research registration forms will need to be filled out and signed through email or hard copy. |
