Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center

For Those With Mobility Impairments: The visitor center is fully accessible. Restrooms are located inside the visitor center lobby. The theater is also fully accessible.

Chickamauga Battlefield

For Those With Mobility Impairments: Touring may be conducted in your own vehicle. There is also a cell phone tour available for visitors to use in order to tour the battlefield. Wayside plaques, markers, monuments, and exhibits along the tour route are partially accessible on paths that are relatively flat, grass or dirt covered areas. There are handicapped accessible restrooms at the Wilder Brigade Monument (Tour Stop 6).

Lookout Mountain Battlefield Visitor Center

For Those With Mobility Impairments: The visitor center is fully accessible. Restrooms are located just outside the visitor center lobby.

Lookout Mountain Battlefield (Point Park)

For Those With Mobility Impairments: Touring is conducted along a rock and paved path around the perimeter of Point park. There are benches located along the path. The Ochs Museum and Observatory is the only area that is not handicapped accessible.

Cravens House

For Those With Mobility Impairments: The house is not handicapped accessible.

Moccasin Bend National Archeological District

For Those With Mobility Impairments: None of the trails, including Blue Blazes and Browns Ferry Federal Road trails, are currently handicapped accessible.

  Point Park ADA Accessibility Video

  The views from within Point Park on top of Lookout Mountain are some of the most awe inspiring throughout the National Park Service. Unfortunately, some of these views are not accessible to visitors that have a mobility disability.   Accessibility Video of the Wilder Brigade Monument

  For many, it may be difficult to climb the winding staircase to the top of the Wilder Brigade Monument, which is Tour Stop 6 in Chickamauga Battlefield. With that in mind, we have provided a short video including some of the monument's history with views from the top.
