Enabling LegislationThis section provides the Enabling Legislation passed by Congress in 1978 that established the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Also included is additional legislation that has been passed by Congress that applies to the park. Code of Federal RegulationsTitle 36, Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter I - National Park Service Superintendent's CompendiumIn accordance with regulations and the delegated authority provided in Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter I, Parts 1 through 7, authorized by Title 16, United States Code, the following regulatory provisions are established for the proper management, protection, government and public use of the portion of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service. These discretionary regulations are in addition to the other regulations published in Title 36, CFR, Chapter I, Parts 1 through 7. Unless otherwise stated, these regulatory provisions apply in addition to the requirements contained in Title 36, CFR, Chapter I. |
