Treaties

Formal treaties, conventions, protocols, and other instruments for making binding agreements are generically called treaties. Chamizal National Memorial was established to commemorate the Chamizal treaty, officially titled, "Convention Between The United States Of America And The United Mexican States For The Solution Of The Problem Of The Chamizal."
