For Kids

César E. Chávez National Monument is a great place for kids to learn about the legacy of one our nation's most important Latino leaders of the twentieth century. Photo collections in the Exhibit Hall depict inspiring scenes from the 1965 Delano Grape Strikes, and the memorial garden and gravesite offer an opportunity to honor the memory of César Chávez.

Kids can also earn a badge by completing activities in our junior ranger book. Pick up a free booklet at the information desk when you arrive, and then return it when it's complete. The booklet can also be printed at home and then mailed to the monument.
