![]() NPS Photo With the end of winter and the return of mild temperatures at Cedar Breaks National Monument, the park is excited to offer a wide variety of visitor activities this summer. For information on what is open and closed now, please visit our Current Conditions Page. CampgroundPoint Supreme Campground is open. All campsites must be reserved on www.recreation.gov. There are no first come, first served sites at the campground. Fee Collection, Pass Sales, & Visitor InformationThe Information Center is in a new location on the east side of Rim Road. This temporary Information Center is open daily, and is where visitors can speak with a ranger, pay their entrance fee, or purchase an interagency park pass. Festivals and Special EventsThe park plans to host its regular monthly festivals June through September. Visit our calendar page for specific information on programming and events. Junior Ranger Activity Books can be picked up from the temporary Information Center or from a roving ranger. Park rangers will be available throughout the park at overlooks and on trails to review completed books and award badges. Zion Forever Project Park StoreThe park store is in the same building as the temporary Information Center (southeast of Point Supreme) and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Point Supreme OverlookThis overlook is closed to all visitor access. Construction of the park's visitor contact station is underway, entering this area is unsafe and can lead to serious injury or death. Construction and the associated closure will continue through the 2022 season. Visitor services including ranger programs, pass sales, and park information have been relocated for the summer. Ranger ProgramsPark rangers are currently available at the temporary Information Center. Additional programs at overlooks and trails will be added throughout the summer. For specific information, including starting locations and time, on daily programming visit the calendar page or stop by the temporary Information Center in the park. RestroomsPort-a-potties are available at the temporary Information Center, South Rim Trailhead, and North View Overlook. Vault toilets at the Picnic Area will open once snow has been cleared from the area. TrailsAll trails are open, check out our hiking page for more information. |
