With the end of winter and the return of mild temperatures at Cedar Breaks National Monument, the park is excited to offer a wide variety of visitor activities this summer. For information on what is open and closed now, please visit our Current Conditions Page.
Point Supreme Campground is open and all campsites must be reserved on www.recreation.gov. There are no first come, first served sites at the campground.
Fee Collection, Pass Sales, & Visitor Information
The Information Center is in a new location on the east side of Rim Road. At this Information Center, visitors can speak with a ranger, pay their entrance fee, or purchase an interagency park pass. An additional information booth is open at the North View Overlook. At this booth, visitors will be able to speak with a ranger, pay their entrance fee, or purchase an interagency park pass. If the flag is flying, the facility is open! Masks are required inside the Information Center for all visitors.
Festivals and Special Events
The park plans to host its regular monthly festivals June through September. Visit our calendar page for specific information on programming and events.
Junior Ranger Activity Books can be picked up from either of the information booths or from a roving ranger. Park rangers will be available throughout the park at overlooks and on trails to review completed books and award badges. A special Master Junior Ranger Program is in the works, check back on this page for more details.
The park store is in the same building as the Information Center (southeast of Point Supreme) and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Masks are required inside the Information Center for all visitors.
Point Supreme Overlook
This overlook is closed to all visitor access. Construction of the park's visitor contact station is underway, entering this area is unsafe and can lead to serious injury or death. Construction and the associated closure will continue through the 2022 season. Visitor services including ranger programs, pass sales, and park information are located at the North View Overlook.
Park rangers will be offering public programs daily. For specific information, including starting locations and time, on daily programming visit the calendar page or stop by the information center or booth in the park.
Port-a-potties are in place at the Information Center, South Rim Trailhead, and North View Overlook. Vault toilets at the Picnic Area are also available for visitor use.
