The Junior Ranger Program is a fun way to learn more about the park and how you can help protect it - just like our park rangers! The Junior Ranger Program at Cape Hatteras National Seashore is open to kids of all ages.
To become an official Cape Hatteras National Seashore Junior Ranger, simply grab a Junior Ranger booklet from any of the park visitor centers or museums and complete the pages assigned to your age group. If you visit during the spring through fall, we also ask that you attend one of our ranger programs.
Return your completed booklet to any of the park visitor centers or museums to receive your Junior Ranger badge! This is an in-park program, but you can get started by downloading the Junior Ranger booklet ahead of your visit.
