Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site provides curriculum-based programing for students from Kindergarten through High School. At a minimum, all education programs are an hour long, but rangers can facilitate 90-minute-long programs for students at and above the Junior High level.

Transportation GrantsBrown v. Board of Education NHS does not provide transportation, but we can provide funding to schools who visit the site. Funding is available for Title 1 schools, Topeka Public Schools, and schools with other financial needs.If approved, the site will reimburse the school for its transportation costs. We cannot provide funding prior to the visit. Additionally, the school or the transportation provider must accept credit card payments. Reimbursements from Brown v. Board of Education NHS are provided by credit card payment. We will need an invoice of the actual transportation cost prior to providing the reimbursement.You may find the application here.
