Free Access to Federal Lands and Waters for 4th Graders and Their Guests
NPS Photo Calling all fourth graders!Through the Every Kid Outdoors Program, fourth grade students, their classes, and their families can learn and explore national parks and federal lands and waters across the country. This includes Boston! Connect with your heritage and immerse yourself in nature by getting a EKO pass. Visit www.everykidoutdoors.gov to learn more about how to obtain and use your pass. Children and their families can use this pass for free admission to national parks and other federal public lands and waters across the country for the school year. The EKO pass cannot be used for ferry tickets to the Boston Harbor Islands. Check bostonharborislands.org for free ferry days or information on free or discounted tickets. For example, if you live in Boston, you may be able to participate in the Library Pass Program. Bring your printed paper voucher from everykidoutdoors.gov to either the Faneuil Hall Visitor Center Desk or the Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center. You can exchange the voucher for an official Every Kid Outdoors pass. Several parks in the area have free admission, so an Every Kid Outdoors pass is not necessary. Free Admission/p>
