Veteran Story: Margaret Hollandsworth
Hollandsworth served in the Air Force from September 1988 to May 2009. She deployed in September 1991 to January 1992 to Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. She retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
Hollandsworth worked in Administration, Logistics, and Command Post during her military career. Honduras was her favorite deployment. She says, "There is nothing like helping people in a third world country." She ended her career at Offutt Air Force Base at the United States Strategic Command in the Airborne Command Post. Her 20 years, 8 months, and 3 days in the Air Force taught her integrity, service before self and excellence in all you do on a daily basis.
Today Margaret is a Facility Management Systems Specialist in the Midwest Regional Office (Interior 3, 4 and 5) in Omaha, Nebraska.
