Article 2: Restoring a Gateway to Gettysburg: The View from Seminary Ridge
NPS ABPP has awarded a 2022 Battlefield Restoration Grant to the American Battlefield Trust to develop a treatment plan for historic properties at Seminary Ridge, a gateway to Gettysburg National Military Park. The restoration plan for civilian buildings that witnessed the battle will provide visitors with a vantage on the first day of this Civil War turning point. Read more

Article 3: Brandy Station: Restoring the Field that Made the Union Cavalry
This NPS ABPP Restoration Grant supports the American Battlefield Trust’s comprehensive study of Brandy Station Battlefield which will document historical and archeological resources and explore lesser-known stories on land soon to be incorporated into Virginia’s new Culpeper Battlefields State Park. Article 4: Third Winchester: Restoring Order in the Landscape of Memory
With a 2022 Battlefield Restoration Grant from NPS ABPP’s newest program, the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation will build on the 2009 acquisition of Huntsberry Farm at Third Winchester Battlefield with the installation of period fencing to help restore the 1864 landscape. Read more
