GaryStansberry

What was your role in the military and your dates of service?
I was the Facilities Superintendent with the 200th RED HORSE Squadron Ohio Air National Guard. I enlisted in June of 1992 and retired February 2016 with the rank of Senior Master Sargeant.

How did you come to work for National Park Service?
I've always wanted to serve the National Park Service (NPS) so after a 2010 tour to Iraq wrapped up, I was hired at Cuyahoga Valley National Park and began my journey serving the NPS in multiple leadership positions.

What role do you play in National Park Service today?
Today I am the Servicewide Maintenance Action Team (MAT) Coordinator, ironically the MAT concept is similar to what I did in my military career.
