Visiting more than one park? See tips from other rangers around the country and plan your next park visit like a park ranger.

Start your visit to Ste. Genevieve in the Welcome Center, located at 66 S. Main Street. Here you can pick up a free map, watch a short film, visit the restroom, shop in the park store, and learn a bit about the town's history before you start exploring.

Explore more of historic Ste. Genevieve by taking a self-guided walk around the town or by visiting the Memorial Cemetery. See the more natural side of Ste. Genevieve by walking the levee trail near the Mississippi River.

Attend a ranger-guided program inside one of the historic houses managed by the National Park Service. Programs are offered daily, dependending on staffing and weather, and admission requires tickets. Free program tickets are available at the Welcome Center on a first come, first serve bases..
