Development of a Comprehensive Parks Master Plan for Moulton Park

Located on the shore of the Shenandoah River, Moulton Park is a popular destination for residents and visitors, featuring camping and other riverside recreational opportunities. Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Commission’s project supports development of a comprehensive master plan for the park and its recent 82-acre expansion. The park will be managed for multiple conservation values including recreation and public access, watershed protection and education, native species protection, soil conservation and forest regeneration.
