Park Hours

Arches National Park is normally open year-round, 24 hours a day. Fees apply. The park is very busy between March and October. To avoid traffic, we recommend entering the park before 8 am or after 3 pm.

Seasons

Spring, Summer, and Fall

The park is busiest March through October. Temperatures in spring and fall are comfortable. In summer, daytime temperatures often exceed 100°F (37°C).

Rangers offer programs spring through fall.

The visitor center is open daily.

Winter

Winter is a peaceful time, without the crowds and scorching heat of summer. Temperatures are cold, with highs averaging 30° to 50° F (-1° to 10° C).

We do not offer ranger programs in winter.

The visitor center is open daily throughout the winter, except for December 25.
