Deaf / Hearing Loss Accessibility

Visitor Center

Park Information

At the visitor center, we have a variety of publications on the natural and cultural features of the park.

Pay Phone

A pay phone is available 24 hours a day outside Arches Visitor Center. This is the only pay phone in the park.

Films and Exhibits

The Arches film, "Windows in Time," has open captions. There are exhibits in the visitor center that discuss the natural and historic features of the park. You'll also find wayside exhibits throughout the park.

Audio/Visual Programs

Video exhibits have open captioning.

Assistive Listening Devices

We have assistive listening devices, both with headphones and a neck loop for hearing aids with t-coils. These receivers work with all videos in the visitor center.

In-Person Programs

Visitors who are Deaf or have hearing loss may request an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter for in-person, ranger-led programs. To improve your chances of securing services in time for your visit, we recommend you submit your request at least 7 days or more in advance.
