Notes: 54 - Manuel Castro. On November 13th in the year of the Lord 1817, Manuel Castro, a soldier from Tucson, returned his soul to God somewhat suddenly from a fall. He was absolved conditionally and received the extreme unction. His body was buried on the 14th in the cemetery and for the truth of this I signed as above. = Fray Narciso GutiƩrrez (rubric) in charge of Tubac.
