Notes: 299 - Thomasa Higuera. On the 29th of February in the year of the Lord 1808, I, Fray Narciso Gutiérrez, Presbyter Apostolic Minister for His Majesty in this mission of San José de Tumacácori, solemnly baptized a baby girl who was born the same day at about two o'clock in the morning. She is the legitimate daughter of Bernardino Higuera and María Ygnacia de la Bega, a married couple and Indians of this mission. I gave her the name Thomasa. Her godparents were Ramón Ríos and Gertrudis Borboa, a married couple living at this mission, and for this truth I signed on the said day, month, and year as above. Fray Narciso Gutiérrez (rubric), Minister for His Majesty
