Notes: In the year of the Lord, 1818, on the fourth day of May, having already been preceeded by the publication of the marriage banns as required by the Holy Council of Trent on three consecutive feast days inter misarum solemnia on the fourth of May: the first on December 12th, the second on the 21st, and the third on the 25th of the same month. After the banns were suspended the marriage candidate repeated his petition on April 30, 1818. On the first day of May and on the third of the same, I asked Juan López, resident of Guevavi, in facie ecclesie, and Gertrudis Ríos, daughter of Ramón Ríos and Gertrudis Borboa, residents of Guevavi, if they desired to be joined in marriage and, having received their consent, I solemnly married and veiled them in the church of the Calabazas Ranch. Witnesses were Don Francisco Marquez, married to Petra Escobar; Felipe Valle, and Torivio López, married to Rita Robles. For this truth I sign ut supra. Fr. Narciso Gutiérrez, in charge of Tumacácori
