Notes: Father Larranaga served briefly at Nacosari after Padre Pedro Rodriguez Rey was killed there by Apaches. He fled to Culiacan and was replaced by Juachin Feliz Díaz who eventually administered Nacosari from the Presidio of Fronteras because of the Apache menace. What Padre Larranaga was doing in Guevavi in 1761 is unknown.
