Permits

Please use the forms below to apply for a special use permit. You will need a free Adobe Reader to view them.

These forms are used by the public to apply to the NPS for many types of special use permits, including special events, commercial filming and still photography. The National Park Service may permit a special park use providing the activity will not cause derogation of the park's resources and values, visitor experiences, or the purpose for which the park was established. Special park use application forms 10-930, 10-931, and 10-932 expire on December 31st.

The NPS is given the authority to recover and retain costs associated with managing special park uses under 16 U.S.C. 3a. Costs associated with issuing a special use permit (SUP) such as direct personnel costs, material and supply costs, costs of official travel, utility costs, costs for preparation of compliance documents, and vehicles and equipment costs are to be recovered when they would not have been incurred if the activity that is being permitted did not take place.
