1. What is the primary activity at Lake Meredith? Lake Meredith offers many outdoor activities including hiking, camping, boating, birdwatching, kayaking, paddleboarding, and mountain biking.
2. Is there a fee to visit the park? Currently, there are no fees for using Lake Meredith National Recreation Area.

4. Is there camping at the lake? Yes, there is both tent and trailer camping, but there are no trailer hookups or electricity.
5. Where can I find access to the water? The best places to access the lake are: Harbor Bay. Fritch Fortress and Sanford-Yake. Boat-ramps are open; Spring Canyon has a swimming area which can also be used for kayaking, canoeing, or paddle boarding.
6. Where is a good place to camp? Lake Meredith has 11 camping areas to meet your needs depending on your personal tastes and also the weather.
7. Where is a good place to birdwatch? Spring Canyon has an actual birdwalk where you can view birds migrating in the spring and winter. This wetlands area is also a great place to view wildlife.
8. Where is a good place to hike? Lake Meredith has several trails to hike depending on your level of hiking. The hiking trails are Turkey Creek Trail, Harbor Bay Trail, and Mullinaw Trail. These trails are excellent areas to view wildlife and wildflowers, especially during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Mullinaw Trail is an easy hike through a beautiful riparian area in the Canadian River Valley. Turkey Creek and Harbor Bay trails are located in Harbor Bay. Turkey Creek follows the shoreline and Harbor Bay is a hike to the top of a mesa. These trails offer opportunities to get outdoors in nature and view wildlife, plants, and birds. Both trails offer different types of habitat and in springtime, check out the wildflower bloom. In the fall, Mullinaw is an excellent area to view the changing of colors.
