We offer free, in-person professional development for teachers in Alaska! These workshops focus on how educators can leverage National Park Service lesson plans and resources to support their teaching. Participants will take part in activities and lesson plans that they can implement in their classroom.

At this time, we do not have any upcoming teacher workshops. If you would like to request a teacher workshop for a staff or school district, contact our education team.

 

Other Teacher Programs

The National Park Service offers a variety of programs and resources for teachers, such as:

• The National Park Service Educator Portal, for lesson plans and program offerings nation wide.
• Teacher Ranger Teacher, a national program which gets teachers out into the field.
