Winter Ranger-Led Programs

These programs have ended for the season. These pages are being maintained as a general guide to the sorts of programs we offer in the winter. The schedules will change for winter 2008-2009. That schedule is not determined until November. As soon as it is finalized, the new program schedule will be posted here.

Did You Know?
The 1988 fires affected 793,880 acres or 36 percent of the park. Five fires burned into the park that year from adjacent public lands. The largest, the North Fork Fire, started from a discarded cigarette. It burned more than 410,000 acres.
