The National Park Service makes every effort to keep the public informed about news events, accomplishments, employee recognitions, special and re-occurring events which happen within and around the units of the Park Service.

The National Park Service and Eastern National publish In The Park park newspaper, which provides visit planning information and contains articles on various resource-related topics. Copies of In The Park are available at the park's visitor center.

Wright Brothers provides news releases to local and regional newspapers; current and past news releases can also be found on the park website.

Did You Know?
Although the town of Kitty Hawk is always associated with the exploits of the Wright brothers, most of their flying experiments took place about 4 miles to the south on the sands of Kill Devil Hills. The town of Kill Devil Hills, where the memorial is located, was incorporated in 1953.
