If you are planning a special event please contact the park for more information.  You may need a special use permit for certain types of activities.  These include; filming, commercial ventures, large groups of people, etc. which might impact the commemorative significance of the site or other park visitors.

Washita Battlefield Visitor Center is also home to Black Kettle National Grasslands. Black Kettle National Grasslands, a unit of the U.S. Forest Service, works along side the National Park Service to help maintain and care for Washita Battlefield National Historic Site.
