Winter and Spring Programs

Voyageurs National Park offers programs from mid-January through April. All programs are held at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center unless otherwise noted. Programs are weather permitting. National Park Week Open House
Saturday, April 24, 2010
11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Come celebrate National Park Week on Saturday, April 24. A host of activities are scheduled for the day and prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Annual Youth Art Contest. The award ceremony starts at noon. Come support the youth in the community and don’t miss the fun!

Did You Know?
Voyageurs National Park experienced a large, lightning-ignited fire on the Kabetogama Peninsula in 2004. This young eagle survived the fire and returned to its former nesting tree in time for park researchers to take this photo!
