NPS / P. Winfrey The state memorial for West Virginia represents the 4th West Virginia Infantry, and commemorates the regiment's commander, Major Arza M. Goodspeed. It is located on Union Avenue south of Graveyard Road. Bottom of Bronze Bust is inscribed:
