We thank our volunteers for their dedication and commitment, who share their time, skills and energy to help enhance the visitor experience and to preserve our park.

Volunteering is an American tradition that lives on at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Our volunteers are actively involved in preserving and protecting natural, cultural, recreational and historical resources and assisting with educational programs at the park. Our success depends on people like you who treasure this special place, OUR PARK.

Do Something Revolutionary and Join the Team! Whether you prefer a one time or recurring opportunity, and if you are interested in joining a team of Very Important People (our volunteers) who help to enhance the park experience, then Valley Forge National Historical Park is the place for YOU!

Community Based Stewardship

"National Public Lands Day began in 1994 with three federal agencies and 700 volunteers. On September 26, 2009, 150,000 volunteers worked at over 2,000 locations and in every state and in many U.S. territories. Now, 8 federal agencies and many state and local lands participate in this annual day of caring for shared lands."
