Support Valley Forge National Historical Park

There are many ways that you can get involved and support the Park from volunteering with invasive species removal, visitor assistance and trail rehabilitation to educational advocacy with the Friends of Valley Forge. Volunteer projects and educational opportunities are available year round both indoors and outdoors. You can also support the Park and America's public lands through the Encampment Store and Leave No Trace programs.

Encampment Store Trolley Tour

The Encampment Store at Valley Forge

The Encampment Store operates as an extension of the park’s efforts primarily in the areas of enhanced programming and visitor services, ranging from assisting with the operation of guided trolley tours to developing special educational products to complement the interpretation in the park. In addition, the store donates 10% of gross revenue back to the park to use as appropriate.

Did You Know?
Port Kennedy Cave, located in what is now Valley Forge NHP, produced one of the most significant assemblages of Pleistocene fossils in North America. 14 plants and 48 animals are represented, including wolverine, Wheatley's ground sloth, long-nosed peccary, Hay's tapir, and lesser short-faced bear.
