Hilda Alegria makes tortillas as a cultural demonstrator at Tumacácori

Saturdays and Sundays and some weekdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
October through April

Artisans demonstrate traditional crafts on the grounds of Mission San José de Tumacácori. Demonstrations may include paper flower making, Mexican reverse - glass painting, O’odham basketry, pottery, and tortilla making.

Did You Know?
That San José de Tumacácori is a combination of Spanish and O'odham words meaning "Saint Joseph of the Rocky Flat Place."
