Group Visits and Reservations

Steamtown offers a unique opportunity to get an intimate acquaintance with the history and people of steam railroading.

Steamtown National Historic Site is very popular with tour and education groups (Scout troops may plan a Group visit at regular rates, but we no longer offer programs for Scouts). All organizations and groups need to make a reservation at least 6-8 weeks prior to visiting Steamtown. Keep in mind that due to limited staffing, the number of groups we can accommodate on any given day is limited.
