Park Construction Closures

Cavalry & Sherman Roads, shown on the Park Brochure Auto Tour Map as historic road traces for hiking use only, are—for public safety—currently closed to all visitor access on account of road construction activities. The closed work zone is clearly posted at access points for each road along the formal park auto tour route.

Visitors are asked not to enter either work zone for any purpose and to use caution when encountering construction vehicles, which will be entering and exiting the work zones. For further information on the areas affected by these official closures, please inquire at the Shiloh Battlefield Visitor Center. We appreciate your assistance in maintaining safe construction zones for these projects, which will vastly improve public access to these important historic areas of the park.
