The Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail can provide educational programs and materials focusing on Alabama Standards of Learning requirements for grades K-12.  The Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail offers both indoor classroom style programs and educational outreach programs.

Reserved Educational programs are available weekdays from October through May.  For information on how to make a reservation for one of these programs call 334-877-1984

Selma Marchers  

Did You Know?
"Tent City" refers to a temporary dwelling used by approximately twenty African-American tenant farmers in Lowndes County, Alabama who tried to used their right to vote, and were evicted from their homes by White landowners. Some of the families lived on this land for up to two years.
