Businesses in these parks provide vital services for our visitors and offer economic opportunities for people in nearby communities. Federal regulations prohibit engaging in or soliciting any business in park areas, except in accordance with the provisions of a permit, contract, or other written agreement with the United States. Authorized commercial services within Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks fall under two categories, concession contracts and Commercial Use Authorizations.

Concessioners

Concessions contractors provide certain visitor services, including overnight accommodations, food and beverage services, retail sales, and recreational winter equipment rental.

Delaware North Company holds the contract for overnight accommodations, food and beverage services, retail sales, and recreational winter equipment rental in these parks. Commercial Use Authorizations (CUAs)
