The CMRLC provides an opportunity to study and learn about the plants, animals and people who shape the Mediterranean Ecosystems of the world.

The California Mediterranean Research Learning Center establishes a cooperative management, research, and education effort taht supports research and the Parks' ecosystems while involving and educating the public through citizen science opportunities.
