Fees at Sagamore Hill
Admission for Adults Fee - $5*
Admission to the Theodore Roosevelt home is by guided tour only. Tours are limited to 14 people and tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours are offered on the hour from 10 to 4. Because tours often sell out during weekend and holiday afternoons, and on weekdays during the summer season, we ask visitors to arrive early on these days. *Duration is actually a single tour at a specific time during a single day.
Admission for Children (age 15 or younger) Free*
While subject to the same conditions as adult visitors, visitors age 15 or younger are admitted free. *Duration is actually a single tour at a specific time during a single day.
First Floor Viewing
On very busy days, when visitation is high and all regular tours sell out, the first floor of the Theodore Roosevelt home may be opened for viewing at 4:15 pm. This allows visitors who would otherwise not see the Roosevelt home to see its most distinctive rooms. The fee is $3 for this abbreviated tour. First floor tours are not available every day; and they occur only at 4:15 pm.
Visitors do not pay for any other services provided at Sagamore Hill. Therefore, admission to the Old Orchard Museum, visiting the nature trail and beach at Cold Spring Harbor, ranger-led grounds walks and bird walks, and children's activities are all free of charge.
