Lodging

Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) does not have any overnight lodging accommodations available within the park. There are many lodging options, from hotels to campgrounds, located in the nearby communities of Estes Park and Grand Lake.

Overnight Camping

There are five campgrounds inside RMNP that are accessible by vehicle. Moraine Park, Glacier Basin, and Aspenglen available by reservation only and are are located on the east side of the park. Longs Peak Campground is also on the east side of RMNP. This campground is a first-come, first-served campground that is open to tents only from July to early September.

Timber Creek Campgroud is the only campground located on the west side of RMNP. It is also a reservation-only campground.

During the 2024/2025 winter season, the only campground that will be open is Aspenglen Campground. From late October to late May, a limited number of campsites will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Restaurants & Grocery Stores

During the summer season, from approximately late May through early October, there is one restaurant available inside RMNP. There is a cafe and coffee bar located inside the Trail Ridge Store. Trail Ridge Store is located next to Alpine Visitor Center and can be reached via Trail Ridge Road or Old Fall River Road.,

There are no grocery stores located inside Rocky Mountain National Park. Many different
restaurants and grocery stores can be found in the nearby communities of both Estes Park and Grand Lake.
