Port Chicago Naval Magazine National Memorial
Fees & Reservations

No fee!  Free shuttle!

Reservations are required and must be made at least two weeks prior to your visit to the Memorial.  Government (or school) photo ID numbers required for military base access. 

All visitors to the memorial must do so with the National Park Service. The U.S. Army wants even Active U.S. Military to make a reservation, Military Ocean Terminal Concord is a controlled area.

Tours are available Wednesdays through Saturdays by request at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (allow 1½ hours).  No public access Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. 

All visitors are shuttled to the Memorial on National Park Service vehicles from the Concord Naval Weapons Station Identification (ID) Office. Directions

There are NO tours available to the Port Chicago Memorial until after the beginning of January 2010.
