Labor Day Weekend Event - General Grant Returns to City Point

On August 30 & 31, General Grant will return to his Headquarters at the City Point Unit of Petersburg National Battlefield. His wife Julia, who was a frequent visitor at City Point, will be greeting visitors as well.

The program schedule for both Saturday and Sunday is as follows:

10:30 a.m. - Gen. Grant at City Point

12:00 p.m. - Meet Gen. and Mrs. Grant

2:00 p.m. -  Civil War Fashions

3:00 p.m. - "A Letter to my Granddaughter"
