Getting There

Car
Twenty-five miles east of Santa Fe, NM off of Interstate 25. Visitors travelling north on I-25, take exit 299 on to HWY 50 to the Pecos village and south two miles on State Road 63. Those travelling south take exit 307, five miles north to the park on State Road 63.

Did You Know?
Archeologist AV Kidder excavated Pecos Pueblo under sponsorship of Phillips Academy 1915-1929. Kidder's work was described by Richard B Woodbury as unprecedented in North American archaeology with focus on a single site, large scale, planning, organization and use of specialists outside archaeology.
