• The ancestral home of the Southern Paiute people, "Tuweep" refers to the broad volcanic valley and surrounding western park lands. The Tuweep area of Grand Canyon National Park is remote and getting there can be challenging.
• A park area since 1932, Tuweep is managed for an uncrowded, rustic, and remote experience.
