Radula complanata (L.) Dumort

Clusters of green liverworts in file like structures.
The detachment of reproductive cells from Radula complanata leafs help give clusters of the liverwort a filing order-like structure.

Distribution: widespread throughout the northern hemisphere

Habitat: epiphytic or saxicolous (found here on shaded rock)

Distinctive Characters: single large oil body per cell, marginal gemmae, underleaves lacking

Similar Species: Frullania is similar but has underleaves.
