Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park
Support Your Park

Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park needs you.  By offering your time, or just by visiting the park and its bookstore, you can help us continue to preserve and interpret this important historical site.

Bookstore

Palo Alto Battlefield operates a Western National Parks Association sales outlet in the park Visitor Center.  The sales area offers visitors a wide selection of titles related to the history of the U.S./Mexican War.  The store also offers a variety of other titles, from nature guides to cookbooks, souvenirs, and a section for younger readers.  A portion of all sales is returned to the park to support interpretive programs and activities.

Volunteers

Palo Alto could not accomplish many of its projects and goals without the valuable assistance of volunteers.  Are you interested in helping out?  The park has volunteer activities that fit any interest, from visitor contact positions to maintenance and resource management projects.

If you have time and interest to lend to the development of a young and growing National Park, we encourage you to contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 956-541-2785.
