Lesson Plans & Teacher Guides

Lesson plans provided for teachers in the classroom are grouped into categories that emphasize the significant features found at Oregon Caves.  These categories include hydrology (water), bats, and cave adapted life & cave habitats.

Each category contains a brief explanation of the significance as it applies to Oregon Caves and generic lesson plans related to the topic. All lesson plans have been correlated to the National Science Education Standards, Oregon Grade-level Foundations and Standards, and the Science Content Standards for California Public Schools.

Some of the files have been converted to PDF files and require Adobe Reader.  PPT are Microsoft PowerPoint files and require Microsoft software. If you do not have the software to view these files, download it.
