  • During the 2026 summer season, a major rehabilitation project will replace an aging water system and upgrade utilities. Following Memorial Day, visitors should expect weekday closures – from Monday through Thursday – of Hurricane Hill Road for approximately four weeks.

  • Repairs to storm‑damaged sections of the Upper Hoh Road at mileposts 0.3 and 0.8 will require alternating one‑way traffic and up to 20-minute delays from late May through August. No construction delays will occur during the Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, or Labor Day holiday periods.

  • Between April and July 7, essential repair work will require a short single‑lane traffic section near milepost 1.25. The Dickey Boat Launch and trailer parking area will be closed for construction staging.
  • No construction will occur during the Fourth of July weekend.
  • From July 8–Oct. 5, crews will need to close both lanes to pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle traffic beyond the Mora Campground. Rialto Beach will not be accessible via Mora Road during this construction period.
